South Africa is located in the continent Africa. As its name indicates, it is the southernmost country of Africa. South African flag has six colours (red, white, blue, yellow, black, green). It got independence on 11th December from United Kingdom in 1931. Capital cities of South Africa are Pretoria, Cape Town, and Bloemfontein. Its largest city is Johannesburg. By land area, South Africa is the 25th-largest country in the world. It is the only country that borders both Atlantic and Indian Ocean.
